During a consultation, your pet will receive a comprehensive health check. We address any concerns whether this is to discuss preventative health  care, dental assessment, a general check up, medical or surgical concerns you have.

We manage most surgical procedures internally, covering soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries.

For specialised or complex cases such as oncology or spinal surgeries, we refer clients to specialists. Additionally, specific procedures like the BOAS  surgery for Frenchies are also directed to specialists. However, we are proficient in performing a wide range of soft tissue surgeries in-house

We offer a C4 and C5 core vaccination for dogs, typically finishing a puppy vaccination regime at 14 weeks. 
Cats core vaccine is an F3 they receive two to three vaccinations depending on their age. We also offer FIV vaccination for cats. 
The vet will discuss what is required during your vaccination consultation.

Puppy vaccination protocol is at 6-8 weeks for their first, Second 10-12 weeks of age, then their final puppy at 14-16 weeks of age. They then receive an annual vaccination after their final vaccination.  Cat vaccinations same protocol as dogs. Adult dog and cats - annual vaccinations are recommended.

As qualified vet nurses the main focus is the wellbeing and education for your pups! We are willing to teach you everything you need to know in order to raise a smart and well behaved pup. Not only will your pup benefit from this class but you as an owner! From general health care, vaccinations,parasite control, learning from bad habits, grooming to a range of awesome tricks and obedience. 

We teach basic training cues at Puppy preschool, these include:

• Calming technique 
• Lead Walking

Information on class sizes can help owners understand the level of individual attention their puppy will receive.

Our classes range from 4 to 8 puppies in the class. It is important to have a range of different puppies big and small to help owners understand doggy language when they engage and for socialisation. 

We need a copy of the first puppies vaccination certificate. This is to avoid the spread of potentially fatal infectious diseases such as parvovirus, distemper and canine hepatitis. Generally, you will be advised that your puppy can start classes when two weeks have passed since their first vaccination.

We supply mats, poop bags, liver treats for puppy preschool. All you need to bring is your puppy with a harness and lead.

We recommend two people per puppy for classes. Children are welcome to participate, but a limit of one child per puppy per session. (This is not just a play session, it is a structured class for pups to learn good manners.) You can take the training home to share with your family to continue the training as a family.

Explain the policy for missed classes and if there are any make-up sessions or ways to catch up on missed content. If you miss a class, don't worry we will catch you up on the training that was missed. Just contact the clinic to talk to your trainer and we will organise a catch up class that suits.

We recommend further dog training after puppy preschool for further obedience training as they are learning and growing.
